September in Full Swing: Found Balance and Embraced Fall
September came in like a whirlwind, and just like that, we’re back in full swing with school and home life. It’s been a month of adjusting—saying goodbye to summer and easing back into our family rituals. You know how it is, juggling it all! Between creating content, managing social media accounts, and keeping up with all my promises to myself, it’s been a balancing act, but I’ve managed to stay on top of things (most days, anyway!).
Self-care has been at the top of my list this month, and it’s looked a lot like sweating it out on walks, aiming for those 100 miles, juicing, and making smarter nutritional choices. I even squeezed in a haircut I’ve been putting off forever, and let me tell you—it felt amazing to finally cross that off my list.
On the family front, September brought not one but TWO formal military galas. Now, if you know me, you know this is where I feel like a fish out of water, but I showed up, got dressed, and we looked good! One of the events was extra special because my husband was the guest speaker, and he completely knocked it out of the park. I couldn’t be prouder of him. We wrapped up that second gala with a trip back to Fayetteville, just in time to welcome fall.
Speaking of fall, I’ve decided to fully embrace this season. I’m on a mission to find all the things that make it so special, from cozy vibes to outdoor adventures. And guess what? I attended my very first influencer event! Of course, I had to bring my favorite girl, Kennedi, along with me. We experienced Tea Around Town, and it was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sightseeing, delicious food, fun facts, and a little bit of entertainment. If you’re interested, I’ve got a discount code for you! Tea Around Town has locations in Philly, Atlanta, New York, and DC—it’s definitely worth checking out. Click here for my discount
So that was my September—busy, a little chaotic, but full of moments that I’m so grateful for. Here’s to the rest of fall and everything this season has to offer!
